Qooder of Qooder and Shoeker of Tod’s® No_Code:
the new category of urban mobility meets the new category of footwear
The new No_Code brand by Tod's® gave birth to an innovative product, the Shoeker, a combination of a shoe and a sneaker. An idea that perfectly blends in with Qooder’s essence, the combination of a motorbike and a car.

As a matter of fact, both Tod's’® No_Code and Qooder’ Qooder share a likeminded way of design and innovation: they are both unique, one of a kind, and display a similar philosophy and vision.
Shoeker (Shoe + Sneaker)

The Shoeker is the first expression of the No_Code philosophy: a new ideal of footwear, a hybrid project that merges a shoe and a sneaker by fusing innovation, technology and Italian craftmanship, created by the Korean designer Yong Bae Seok.

The Shoeker is a hybrid object, aimed towards people interested in innovation, design, and capable of original choices. For this reason, we got in contact with Paolo Gagliardo, the CEO of Qooder, to imagine how to relate our two innovative products

It is the beginning of a winning collaboration, a combined offer to concretely respond to the growing needs of today’s dynamic and always on the move daily lives, where ordinary codes continue to evolve. It is an exciting period of changes where avant-garde revolutions of different product categories take place, just like Qooder and Shoeker.

The Shoeker combines luxury, technology and the high quality of Made in Italy, just as Qooder combines technology, design, quality of materials and the precision of Swiss engineering.

The new customized version of Qooder x Tod’s® No_Code takes the best from Shoeker's design and style, sharing colors and patterns.

For Qooder, I thought of a true chromatic morphing intervention. It was easy, because the philosophy of Qooder is the same as No_Code: made up of contaminations and contemporaneity

Yong Bae Seok- Shoeker Designer
Design
The intervention started out keeping in mind the importance of functional design. To combine the lines and the overall image with the aspects of the product’s mission, the designer Yong Bae Seok declined every facet of the project in a perspective of daily use.

As for the appearance, Tod's shifted the Shoeker’s most significant aesthetic features starting with dominant colors, black and white, where the former is the protagonist of the body shade in a matte finish, while the latter has been applied to the rims, balancing out the chromatic weights.

The seat is in black leather, with a horizontal lozenge design, embellished with black stitching and a Tod's® No_Code logo hot-stamped on the driver backrest. It is above all on this detail and the front handgrips, also covered in black leather, that the concept of manual skill and craftsmanship is proposed.
Finally, a strong reference to Tod's shoe is the presence of the iconic rubber pads on the red passenger grab handle, like Shoeker's heel.
